So that’s how they get so shiny!

Aged Copper Village Collection planters, ready for packaging

While walking across our production floor today, I saw an order going through the final prep and polishing before being packaged up.  The pots, our Village Collection VS-2400 in the metal-infused Aged Copper finish, positively glowed.  They look great, and will be packaged and shipped shortly.

There’s only one way to get them to look like this.  Two of our crew, Anthony and Luis, were putting the finishing touches on the last couple of pots. I took out my cell phone and snapped a few shots of them doing the buffing.

Bobby Barbati of BISCO irrigation (our distribution partner in New England) sent through a few photos of a job that he worked on last year. The setting is a new 6000 sq. ft. visitor center at the Distrigas LNG terminal in Everett, MA.  The roofdeck was designed by Michael Radner of Radner Design Associates of Framingham, MA.

The Glade at the Redbury Hotel

The Redbury Hotel just opened at the famed corner of Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood, CA.  This upscale boutique hotel, part of The sbe Collection, features a terrace garden that they’ve called “The Glade”, which includes (from their website):

Teak Decking, oversized wicker furniture, large planters, daybeds, moorish inspired lanterns, and lush landscaping with wall of creeping fig & trees

in short, it sounds like paradise!  More after the jump…

We were delighted to be chosen to provide the planters and irrigation systems for the on-structure planters at the brand-new Ritz-Carlton Destination Club in Vail, CO this past spring. The project was specified by SE Group from Burlington, VT (who ought to know a thing or two about designing ski locations), and installed by Rocky Mountain Custom Landscapes.  Recently our mountain-states representative Scott Doman visited the site, and sent back this description and the attached images.
