Hanging with Kraft Gardens at the 2011 TPIE in Ft. Lauderdale

I got a call in December from Kevin Kraft of Kraft Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL. He was working on the layout of their booth for this year’s TPIE, and he wanted to show their plants vertically. Living walls are one of the hot new topics for their interiorscape customers, and its a good way to showcase some of his plants. As one of the premier nurseries for commercial-quality plants in the country, we knew that they would do a good job with the display.  It doesn’t hurt that their booth is the first you see when you walk in the show, and that they positioned the TerraScreen front and center.

Finding Tournesol Siteworks at the TPIE…

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

The FNGLA’s Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition will be taking place January 14th-16th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Tournesol distributor Primescape Products will be exhibiting in booths 3003/230 & 237, and Bullis Bromeliads in #917 will be using our TerraScreen® Interior greenwall system prominently in their booth. Stop by and ask them about using TerraScreen with their bromeliads!

As part of the TPIE short course there will be a “Green Walls Workshop” on Friday morning, from 8:00-12:15.  Organized by Joy Dorst, the course will feature McCrae Anderson speaking on his new greenwall system from 9:45-10:30, then will be organized as a panel.  Tournesol Siteworks will be represented on the panel by our distributor James Loper from Reflections of Nature Nursery/Biotecture of Yulee, FL.  Many of the different manufacturers of living wall systems will be present, so it should be an interesting hour!
