Design for custom irrigation insert for Frontgate

It’s been some time since we’ve had a product other than our Flower Framer windowboxes sold in the retail arena. We were delighted to be approached by Frontgate (a division of Cinmar), who were looking for a container irrigation insert to sell along with an exclusive pot this year. They were able to fit our standard CWC-1300 and CWC-1600 irrigation inserts to several pots that they offer, but had something special in mind for their feature product this Spring. They wanted a custom size for a large, square woven planter.

Our New 2011 Catalog is now available

Our new catalog is now available!  At 100 pages, it has even more product information, technical data and images of Tournesol Siteworks projects around the country.

The cover is from a roofgarden in NYC, designed by Landgarden Landscape Architects and installed and maintained by Greener by Design. The long, linear character of the patio is broken up by the containers along either edge. Without the right plants and maintenance, it could feel terribly sparse.  The way it turned out was a credit to all – and the owner has come back and purchased more product for the same project.  Much thanks to Richard Heller and the crew at Greener by Design for the use of the image.

The new catalog is updated with information on the VertiGreen Hybrid 3D Trellis, our newest collection of Aquarian planters and a range of new recyclers, ash & trash cans. We also feature the improved AutoFill Container Irrigation System, which was re-engineered in 2010.

between landscape + architecture – our new catalog is here!

If you’ve spoken with someone from Tournesol in the last 6 months, you’ve probably heard about the new catalog that was “just around the corner”.  While it took a lot longer to pull together than we anticipated, it’s finally here! 

 At 88 pages, it has complete sections on our Green Building Products (including living wall, green facades, and our new VertiGreen product), Container Irrigation, and Pots, Planters and Site Furnishings.  In addition to complete product specifications we’ve added complete technical sections on installation and use of the products.  Oh, and did we mention pictures? It’s full of installation images to give you an idea how others have used our products, and provide inspiration for your next project.
