The Redbury Hotel just opened at the famed corner of Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood, CA. This upscale boutique hotel, part of The sbe Collection, features a terrace garden that they’ve called “The Glade”, which includes (from their website):
Teak Decking, oversized wicker furniture, large planters, daybeds, moorish inspired lanterns, and lush landscaping with wall of creeping fig & trees
in short, it sounds like paradise! More after the jump…
The hotel definitely has a specific design aesthetic – here’s how the hotel describes itself:
Welcome to The Redbury, the latest addition to the award-winning sbe Hotel Collection, curated by visionary Creative Director and renowned photographer, Matthew Rolston, in collaboration with sbe Founder and CEO, Sam Nazarian. Situated at the iconic convergence of Hollywood and Vine, The Redbury’s guest suites, amenities, and services provide an unpretentious and engaging hospitality experience, appealing to a community that is passionately connected to the arts, music, fashion, and entertainment.
The landscaping at the Glade was done by Tournesol Siteworks customer Andrew Vilchez of West Coast Landscape Management, working with our partners at Aqua-Flo Supply. They’ve used 60″ diameter Village Collection containers in lightweight FRP, which didn’t crush the teak decking with their weight. The lush wall plantings were created by using our Wilshire Collection rectangles in 10′ and 6′ lengths.
This is clearly a focal point of the hotel, and needs to be looking good and holding up to public traffic. We’re delighted that they chose us to help them create the space.
