The Empire Collection meets the needs of the more traditional locations.  This project, designed by John Malick Associates of Emeryville, CA, and purchased by the owner, is a lovely terrace overlooking the grounds of this elegant club.  Rather than put up a railing on the low parapet wall (spoiling the view below), the designer created a safety zone away from the edge with a low barrier wall made of rectangular FRP planters, and round planters behind to fill the resulting space.  Because there was no irrigation run to the pots, the designer specified the CWM Modular container irrigation systems (the fill tubes are visible in several of the images).  These images were shot approx. 3 weeks after installation.
